Our emphasis is on working together to better understanding new and emerging travel management practices. TBBTA is committed to enhancing the travel profession by sponsoring educational and informational programs for its members, and by providing top-rated speakers to address travel-related issues, concerns and current "hot topic" items.

TBBTA is an excellent venue for the sharing of travel-related information and professional expertise, and is an organization focused on perfecting the science of business travel management.

Mission Statement
The mission of TBBTA is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information through programs emphasizing education, technology, and hands-on workshops. This mission is further accomplished by association with individuals dedicating their professional time to successful business travel management.

Membership Types:

  •          Direct (Corporate) Membership: Direct members are persons employed by a business or corporation for the purpose of procuring travel related services.  Further, these persons shall be a company-designated manager, supervisor or representative of a company department which procures and/or manages business travel. 


  •          Allied membership: Allied members are employees who provide travel-related service or product used by business travel managers


  •          Honorary Lifetime Membership:  Honorary status may be granted by the Chapter Board of Directors when a member of good standing retires from his/her employment or regular business pursuits on a full-time basis.  Such member shall neither pay annual dues nor have voting rights, but will pay meeting dues for all meetings attended.


  •           Academic Membership:  Academic Membership shall be limited to any full-time post-secondary student or faculty at a college, university, or other post-secondary institution which is recognized by the Association leading to a degree or certificate in travel, transportation, or hospitality management.  Academic members may not vote, hold elective office, or chair a committee. They may attend all meetings.
