Education

Education is the foundation for the existence of the GBTA Tampa Chapter, founded in 1988 by a group of travel industry leaders that wanted to raise the knowledge and professionalism of those individuals whose careers were in managing or selling travel related services. Each of our monthly meetings is designed to provide current, leading edge information to our membership, and to create a comfortable social environment where networking and peer recognition can be accomplished informally.

GBTA Professional Development is designed to power the careers of business travel professionals using education and certification to fuel recognition and advancement. Education and training makes individuals more knowledgeable and competitive in the marketplace. GBTA provides education for business travel professionals at every level of his/her career; whether you are new to business travel management or have decades of experience there is always a “next step” on the GBTA learning path.
